This run takes you along the beautiful Manistee River and through scenic trails along the outskirts of the village of Mesick. If you are walking you may even find some morels to pick along the way.  Date And Time   May 10, 2008 7:30 a.m.  Northern Exposures Campground  285 Manistee River Dr.  Mesick, MI 49668  (231) 885-1199 Registration Early Registration (till 5/1/2007) - $8.00 After 5/1/2007 - $10.00*  Door Prizes awarded the after the race Registration Fee includes T-shirt Registrations accepted until 7:00 a.m. the day of the race 5K Run This run will start at the covered picnic area, located just north of the parking area.  You will run along side the Manistee River and proceed into the trail. The trail is winding and hilly. Your final descent is along the Manistee River on a paved campground road. 2K Walk You will begin at the same place as the 5K Run.  You will walk along the Manistee River, and proceed into the trail.  The trail is winding and has a few inclines and declines.  You will encounter fun information about the area along the way and finish at the original point.
